THE GENIUS OF JEWISH SONG WRITERS

A concert dedicated to songs written by Jewish composers and lyricists.

The Idea behind Gitit’s current production involved a thorough research in allocating and understanding the scope of Jewish talents and their contribution to the popular contemporary music throughout the 20^th and 21st centuries.

The year long research and process was a key to the cherry pick of these great masterpieces and the stories that influenced the creation, looking for the song writers’ roots and understanding their backgrounds, cultures and heritage which lead to their worldwide huge success.

Gitit`s outstanding rapor with her audiences will be highlighted through this live concert, intertwined with stories and facts about these great patriarchs of Jewish modern hits.

Ron Druyan, the musical producer and arranger, is a Suma cum laude graduate of the renowned Berklee College of Music.

Mr. Druyan worked with the best Israeli artists as a keyboard player and musical producer. In Recent years Mr. Druyan’s main musical activity is in helping develop Gitit Shoval`s career. He musically produced three of her albums and was the executive producer of two more.

Gitit will be accompanied by 7 great musicians on stage with a super rich sound.

Tutti Druyan, daughter of Ron and Gitit, a very talented, gifted singer and a future star will also be featuring in this concert.
